  • But what if liberals insist that their votes should also count?

    Exactly.

    Chest mako
  • Wheel guns, shotguns, and lever action it is. I mean I'm cool with that.
  • Biden is correct.  Now he needs to activate Dark Brandon and biatch slap some mofo republicans.
  • If Drew was a Zoomer we'd have a TRUUUUUUUU tag

    I have a semiautomatic shotgun.
  • With the end of conscription in the US, the only definition of militia that can be used to argue gun rights is akin to a terrorist organization. Johnny Two Trucks and his local yokel crew will not be invited to a US army base and tasked with fighting along side our troops. They will be shooting at our troops.

To be fair, Johnny Two Trucks is probably too fat and stupid to be allowed on an army base.

Some of the local yokel crew is bound to not be obese. Ok, one of the local yokel crew is bound not to be obese. Ok. One of the local yokel crew is bound to be close to not being obese.

You know what fark it. Let 'em overthrow a Cinnabon and tell them it's a state house. They probably won't be able to tell the difference.
  • You all understand that semiautomatic means one pull of the trigger means one bullet fired, right?  And the only difference between this and non-automatic is that semiauto ejects the shell/casing and loads the next shell/bullet, whereas otherwise you have to do it by hand or work a lever or pump mechanism.

Now tell me how my grandpa who was missing half of his hand is supposed to work an action?

Stop being farking stupid about semiautomatic guns, all you do is piss off everyone who isn't an uninformed moron about firearms.  Ban anything that holds more than 6 bullets at once, the only people who need to fire more than that without reloading are cops (because they are chickenshiats who feel the need to turn everything into Swiss cheese) and the military (because they actually have a need to lay down suppressing fire and kill people in wars).

The problem isn't anything to do with how fast you can pull the trigger, it's with how many times you can do that without stopping to reload (increasing casualty count) and thus giving someone the chance to get you.
  • We have to start somewhere and then keep going until the mass casualties stop.
  • Well, let's do something about it.

My point is that my shotgun will fire a maximum of 5 shells before it needs to be reloaded.  How about we limit magazine size?  I am sure someone can tell my why this is a bad idea and I will gladly listen.  I am a gun owner but not a kook.

Because can't have Nancy Pelosi and her San Francisco values spreading to other parts of the country!

    Or some such nonsense.
  • We need a comprehensive, ongoing, well-presented, well-funded, and well-administered National firearms buyback program in the United States.

    Among other things, of course...

    Sorry about your penis.

    I don't own any guns.

There's reasonable regulation and then there's stupid regulation.

Tell me how you're gonna benefit more from the next mass shooter having a bolt-action with a 30 round magazine over him having a semi-auto with a 6 round magazine.

30 shots before fumbling to reload or six.
Nobody needs 30 round mags.  They only exist to shoot more people before reloading.

    Also, sorry about your brain.

And you have to plug it to only hold 3 if you hunt waterfowl legally.

But apparently not having to work an action is worse than having 30+ shots without reloading.  Firing shots slightly faster is worse than more shots without reloading.

Literally these morons are saying that being able to speedrun a mass shooting is worse than racking up a high score in body count.
  • Goddammit.

Joe, there are times when you have to use your inside voice.
  • Eh... real gun regulation won't happen.  I myself am all for a lever action fixed magazine rifle being standard, break action shotguns, maybe a semi-automatic revolver.  Any of the above allows "Home defense" or whatever the term is these days.

Yeah, you will still get the occasional mass shooter, but they will likely kill a few less people.

Of course, strong mental health requirements for guns, a minimum of a mental wellness check via therapist, for instance, is just right out.  Unfortunately.  And real gun controls, like storage requirements, ammunition counts, and so forth would be asking for the sun.
  • Damn right. American society has proven that it's not capable of owning semi-automatic weapons. Yes, yes, I know, not *everybody* uses them for mass shootings, but unfortunately, the herd only moves as fast as the slowest members.
Back in '86, we made fully automatic weapons VERY difficult to own, and the 2A didn't just vanish. We need to reclassify semi-automatics the same as we do fully automatic weapons. It's LONG past time.

    Feral hogs or something.

Yes he is.  Small peeper men need to fill the void with their chosen substitute.
