  • Really? That sounds creatively bankrupt and terrible.
  • Getting clerks 2 vibes. Wonder if there will be a donkey show.

Seriously though the first was goofy good fun and the two leads are comic forces of nature when together, so all in.
  • Kenan is hilarious.
    Kel is not.
  • Some executive got down to their last notecard.

If what you're saying is Good Burger 2 will feature Rosario Dawson dancing on a rooftop, I guess I might as well plan on subscribing to Paramount+.
  • Oh boy! A sequel! We're truly living in a Golden Age of entertainment!

Maybe this will convince Mel Brooks to finally do "History of the World Part 2".
  • Has Kel been living on the street or something?  Working at a Whole Foods bagging groceries?  Driving for Uber?

Keenan is really doing him a solid.  It's practically like if Ryan Seacrest let American Idol bring back Brian Dunkleman.

He's had a pretty steady low-profile acting career - lots of voice work.

Acting in bit parts and voiceovers- plus he has four kids. He popped up on SNL for a Kenan and Kel revival back in November-

Speaking of, has anyone watched that yet? Trailer looked great with tons of comedians I like.
  • Last i heard they weren't speaking to each other and hadn't in years.  Guess they made up?

Abe vigoda was probably the best part of good burger and that isn't saying much, plus he's dead now.

I'm ok with a lot of revivals and long gapped sequels but i doubt a single person is excited about a good burger 2.

It's disappointing. Think Drunk History, but the comedic timing for most of the bits are off.

Not before "Silent Movie 2", I hope.

I thought it was okay.  Some of the skits went on wayyyyy too long (I'm talking multiple episodes), but I did laugh a few times.

My 11-year-old began searching for it before I could tell her that it was just given the go ahead and hasn't been filmed yet.

As disappointing as Coming To America 2? Because, f*ck me...

Brooks has been interested for years, but nothing seems to be happening.

Sure, there are plenty of recent sci-fi movies to parody, but none as big as the original Star Wars trilogy. Perhaps he could bring back Bill Pullman the way they brought back Harrison Ford in The Force Awakens, but they'd need a holographic John Candy, or one of those creepy deepfakes like they did with Tarkin or Leia.

or one of those creepy deepfakes like they did with Tarkin or Leia

Tarkin wasn't bad, Leia was less than half-cooked though. Wouldn't mind if they went back cleaned that up.

This is the entertainment tab, not politics.  I think you're lost.
  • "Being a part of something so many generations of people have come to love..."

So many generations?? I like Kenan Thompson, but this is kind of delusional.
