Plitzuweit named Gophers women's hoops coach

Minnesota has named Dawn Plitzuweit as the school's new women's basketball coach, replacing Lindsay Whalen, who stepped down after five years earlier this month.

She won a state title in High school. Led the Gophers to their first final four (while being a multi-time all-American) and won multiple WNBA titles in Minnesota.
