I sent my father a link to TFA who has been blathering about how his cold Oklahoma weather is evidence against the warming trend. Corr=/Cause etc. Though he was in the recent ice storm and won't have power for weeks. But hey, let's not start this thread off on the wrong foot. Bring on the Farley.
Maine has had two snowstorms all winter. The picture below was two weeks ago. Now everything is nearly bare ground. We had 24+ hours of rain and 50 degree temps. All while D.C. gets 18" of snow and there are articles of people snowmobiling in North Carolina.

This. Patterns are upside down. Even this approaching storm, upstate NY set to get barely a dusting, NYC only about 3" or so, but Washington DC is gonna get a few feet it looks like.

Walker: No sh*t Sherlock, we're getting 2 feet of snow today. And I live in the "Southern state" of Virginia.
Testify. I should've just called in sick or used a vacation day. The snow in mid-December was awful enough.
/Midwest transplant who was assured it rarely snows out here
//Effing hates the snow.
