  • I'm really torn on whether the Petraeus biography, All In, is a more hilarious title than Jerry Sandusky's Touched.

It's little things like this that make me life worth living.
  • Fifty Shades of Rank?

    General Shades of Grey?

Damn, I hope Kim Kardashian is involved somehow.
  • I want Bebe Neuwirth to play PB in the inevitable bio-pic.

    He's clearly credited.

*looks closer at pic, notes pipes*

She does kinda look like she's on her way up to receive an award for winning an arm wrestling championship in that pic.

Chyna would be acceptable as a body double for the nude scenes at the very least.

Maybe shoot the whole thing with her and then Bebe's can just do the VO work.

    Just spitballin' here. Riffin'.
  • There's one side view pic of her fivehead that makes her look like a Bene Gesserit mother.
  • Wasn't she disclosing a CIA secret, about the CIA annex in Libya at this lecture?

Yeah, but any time I see a book with one author's name featured prominently on the cover and then that less obvious "with someone less well-known," I always assume that "with" person really did all the work and the more prominently credited author is just taking the bulk of the credit for doing much less work.

It's never the "with" person who's going on the book tours and getting all the attention, but they gotta be credited for some reason. The "with" guy did the heavy lifting; the other person is better at promoting the book and increasing sales. You never see the "with" person, so while technically not a ghost writer, they kinda may as well be.

I know this is a sweeping generalization and I could very well be wrong, but this is the thought that crosses my mind whenever I see a book like this.
  • From the WashingtonPost article by the ghostwriter: "I sat in my basement in Maryland and wrote what was virtually a real-time narrative fashioned from the torrent of e-mails, documents and interview transcripts Broadwell sent my way."

So basically she just forwarded emails to him and he did all the writing. I think maybe the names on the book cover need to be reversed.

    Why yes.....yes she was.

That's the way I felt when I read the script for Good Will Hunting by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck with Edmund Yang
  • That Jill chicka has some dandy knockers.
  • After the Denver speech, where Paula divulged information that only someone like Petraeus would have given her, she took questions.

One was "what do you want to do in the future, career wise...."
She responded that she would like to be the WH National Security Advisor.

You know, the position directly under the President.

    Somehow this proves 'Obama BAD',
but I can't figure out how

Best one of these in a while
  • Wha... wha... what?

    What?

    o.O

How dafuq do these people get paid to be complete and total scam artists? Totally ridiculous. She got paid millions to jog with Petraeus and to warm his bed. Meanwhile some dude is writing her books for her.
  • From an interview the writer gave the other night on TV, Broadwell basically sent him interview transcripts and email exchanges, and he wrote the book based on that, sent her the manuscript, and she editied it liberally to suit her tastes. He said she made it much more of a puff piece than he had originally written it with her revisions.

Didn't the CIA say what she said was not true?

So it comes down to who you believe, the CIA? Or do you believe that the woman who started a cat fight that ruined two men careers wouldn't tell a bunch of strangers lies to make herself seem more important.

Come on, you know the answer... he's black. Both Generals were promoted by Bush, weren't they?
