    Don't forget the $3.
  • This happened in Florida, so I have to ask: Is the dog okay?
  • Queue the "Female teacher banging teenage boy = no harm, no foul...but male teacher banging teenage girl = monster" crowd.
  • Can we hear more about this black lab named Dexter? I don't think that this story talks about him enough. He's a material witness, for carp's sake!
  • Sexual battery? A, AA, AAA.
  • I hope somebody is concerned for the child whose innocence was so cruelly violated. Oh good...

"I am deeply troubled by the allegations of sexual misconduct by a teacher. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the alleged victim."

Amos Quito: This happened in Florida, so I have to ask: Is the dog okay?

That's a valid question. If the dog witnessed the alleged acts of sexual depravity, he could be deeply traumatized and require years of therapy.

I have to say, kind of this. At first I was "Well it's just that we are different!", but then I started really looking into these cases. For a lot of times, some of these women used 'love bombing' and pretty getting inside the kid's heads, enjoying that level of control. Think of it like with the Davideans in Coprus Christi, only it's a cult of one. Their is a different kind of abuse, more subtle and a little bit more harmful, their is of the psychological abuse. It's not that sex will harm them, it's the 'I need you' vibe these women instill in the kids, playing with their hormones.

I'm still kind of torn, and yes, I'll get a lot of flack for this, but do a little research on female abuse, and it's going be creep you out, trust me.
  • I want to know more about the student's mom. How on earth did she believe that a 23-year-old could have been the parent of a high school aged kid? Why would she have let her high school aged kid spend the night with a child much younger than he was? Especially with never having met the other kid.

You can blame the 23-year-old for being devious or sneaky, but she wouldn't have been able to get far if the kid's mom weren't the dullest crayon in the box herself.

It's Florida, so maybe... Illegitimate Rape?.
  • And, she would have gotten away with it too; if it wasn't for those meddling kids.

/ or should I say, if she wasn't meddling with kids

Yes, it's a hard 23, but I'd still put her as being the parent of a child still in elementary school, at the oldest.

Yeah, plus i didn't see the kid's age mentioned at all, but iirc, 14 is generally the minimum age for high school. She could pass for a 14 yr old's mum, no problem.

The wobbly bit for me as a parent would have been why did the mom come by to pick the kid up without her kid coming too?

Kid could be adopted, I guess. That is a very, very hard 23. Sucks to be her.

I do that quite often actually. Kid is too busy cleaning his room or what have you. I just run and pick up the friend.

Great news! Today the dog psychology team reports the dog will be fine after intensive "Steak" therapy.
  • The report said Reed told police she lived alone, with the exception of a black lab named Dexter.

and cupboards full of peanut butter.
  • A more important question with much longer standing implications - when will these assholes stop using autoplay videos on their websites?
  • so, she's horrible for doing this. No argument there. But she's smart, and that seems to be something Florida students could use more exposure to. Mixed feelings all in all.
  • She looks like she just ordered a pizza in Mr. Hand's History class.
  • [Smack forehead] Why didn't I think of that?!?!
