  • Just what we need - a bunch of high motherfarkers falling off Beacon Rock. That trail is sketchy enough without weed...
  • That's daring the feds to come and get him. He's promoting marijuana use a lot more than concert organizers targeted by the RAVE act. He'd better be too poor to make asset forfeiture worthwhile.
  • Hooray for carcinogen and fungus inhalation!

    Yer harshin my mellow, dude.
  • Sounds like a creative way to get a visit from the DEA. They barely tolerate medical marijuana. How hard do you think they will come down on any business that sets up shop to facilitate recreational use? Also, how do you supply a business like that and stay under the state possession limits? Have fun in prison.

"Through many detailed experiments, handily summarised in this recent article in the journal Nature Reviews Cancer, scientists have discovered that various cannabinoids (both natural and synthetic) have a wide range of effects in the lab, including:

    * Triggering cell death, through a mechanism called apoptosis
    * Stopping cells from dividing
    * Preventing new blood vessels from growing into tumours
    * Reducing the chances of cancer cells spreading through the body, by stopping cells from moving or invading neighbouring tissue
    * Speeding up the cell's internal 'waste disposal machine' - a process known as autophagy - which can lead to cell death

Sadly it appears it's strictly the cannaboid molecules the brainiacs are studying. Not the smoking, ingesting, whathaveyou. Still promising, me thinks.

I thought it had pretty good safety precautions in place both underfoot and in terms of railings, but yeah it is steep as hell and morons will fall off if high when climbing.

Climbed it last summer; one of many awesome things on that trip. I wish I could afford to go back every couple of years.

  • OK, if you'll look to your right, you'll see a weed. Off to your left, you'll see...well, another weed. They're pretty much all weeds. Hence the name.

Well thankfully obamessiah is a drug user as well and would never persecute folks doing exactly what he did(does)

// can't legislate morality, right libs?
  • hey, have you seen the gorge?

Ever seen the gorge, ON WEED!?
  • It's still illegal to grow and distribute marijuana until the state sets up licensing and taxation guidelines, so for the next year he'll need a BYOBud policy rather than including it in the cost.

That was my first thought: just as 90% of the membership of the old CPUSA was FBI dorks, most of his reservations will be snapped up by DEA drones. Your tax dollars in action.

I cannot see the narcocrats ever giving up. They're still in thrall to Harry Anslinger's ghost.
