Obviously this assassin knew his intended target. He was in and out in a split second...of the guys head.
  • One, two, three, four, five.... Oswald was a pussy
  • Reminds me of the story of the son of a friend of my father. (Phew, what a long walk) I'm saying that maybe this guy crossed the Mexican Mafia.

    Albuquerque Tribune:

Sergio Tena seemed nervous and kept walking in and out of his Rio Rancho garage while the two men waited inside for what they hoped would be a quick deal for methamphetamines, according to the one of those two men who is still alive.

The three, dealer and buyers, smoked a bowl of marijuana together. It was cold in the garage, and Carl Busbee, 27 years old and known to his friends as "Joey," told Tena to hurry up and make the deal. Tena left the garage for a few minutes.

According to the witness account, which is contained in an arrest warrant, Tena walked back into the garage about 9 p.m. on Nov. 27, called Busbee an obscenity and shot him once in the back with a silencer-equipped handgun.

Busbee fell to the floor, gasping and "asking for help," the witness told police.

"Sergio stood by Carl and looked at him for about one minute and then told (the witness) to turn around and face the wall," the warrant states. "As (the witness) faced the wall he heard another gunshot. He turned to see Sergio aiming the gun at Carl as (Carl) lay on the floor."

Busbee's body was found by police seven days later at the bottom of a hole behind a vacant Rio Rancho mobile home.

Tena, 46, and Anna Sigala, who police say is his wife or girlfriend, have been arrested and charged in connection with Busbee's death.

Witnesses have told police Busbee was killed on orders from the "Mexican mafia" over a $30,000 drug debt.

Rio Rancho Department of Public Safety spokesman John Francis said police are still investigating that claim.

According to arrest warrants filed in district court Tuesday, the witness to the killing told police he was duct taped to a chair while Tena and Sigala cleaned Busbee's blood from the garage floor using kitty litter, hydrogen peroxide and rags. The couple then rolled Busbee's body in a tarp and loaded it into Busbee's truck.

The witness told police he was forced to spend the night at Tena's house, 401 First St. in Rio Rancho. At dawn, he was awoken and told he would help get rid of the body.

The witness, whose account of the killing led police to Busbee's body, is not being identified because police say he could face retaliation.

He told police that he and Tena drove to a lot near Northern and Rainbow Boulevards. The lot contained a vacant mobile home and an already-dug, 12-foot-deep hole where they buried Busbee.

When police arrived a week later, they found several deep holes at the property, Francis said. It's not clear why they were there.

After burying the body, Tena drove the witness in Busbee's truck toward somewhere east of Gallup, where Tena met a green Nissan pickup and talked briefly with the driver.

Tena then drove to a residence and ordered the witness to strip the truck of valuables. They continued into Gallup, where they abandoned Busbee's truck in a strip mall parking lot and were picked up by the green truck Tena had met earlier, according to the warrant.

Police don't know who was driving the green Nissan, Francis said.

Busbee was first reported missing Dec. 2. That day, Busbee's father told police he received a visit from a woman who gave him his son's credit cards and contractor's license and told him she was "sorry."

Tena and Sigala both face kidnapping, evidence tampering and several conspiracy charges. Tena is also charged with murder.

I thought the very definition of 'assassin' implied there must be reasons, otherwise 'killer' or 'attacker' would be more accurate.

seriously. Columbus Circle has got to be one of the absolutely safest places in the city.

"That was one of the more creative descriptions of getting thrown out of a place I have ever heard," the bodyguard, Elijah Shaw, said Monday night. Woodard served time on a battery rap.

Well at least he will not be teased now with names like ... The Butthurt Bandit.

I'll be sure to ask the victims in Aurora, Columbine, etc. about their crimes. Or does this philosophy only apply to black people? Maybe we can call up Trayvon and ask him.

This was quite obviously a hit - it bears very little resemblance to any of the cases you mentioned.
Certainly could be a Successful and Attractive Italian-American Type Problem as well, however.

Oh, I agree that the circumstances are quite sketchy. I was objecting to the use of a veiled racial slur to insinuate that it was the reason for those circumstances.

I'm just sort of amazed at the movie-like details of what went down. Apparently shiat like this actually happens where the murderer just coolly gets into his car and drives away.

Didn't really read TFA but an article I saw yesterday said that the getaway car actually stopped at a light as they pulled away, waited for it to change and went on their merry way.
