Reposting from the other thread from earlier in the day, but sounds like looters are gearing up for another night of crime. Organizers encouraging legitimate protestors to go home. I hope they listen, and only looters are out on the town. Then police can do their jobs without unneccesary clash.

Can't stay up and watch all night, sadly. Thankfully I can just read through this thread and know you guys will post all the notable things.

For its size St. Louis County should be just a dozen to fifteen suburbs in the 50,000 to 100,000 range. The 80 something that exist now just make everything a mess.

I agree. This has solidified my support in the City/County merger.

It'll never happen though because people in Chesterfield don't want to associate with "those" people closer to the city.

Well, shiat. That's gonna make things even worse when that gets around. St. Charles County is considered the penultimate location of white flight among the St. Louis area, and there is great disdain between North STL County and St. Charles as it is.

There's a lot of truth to that though. I can't even keep track of the number of people I've met that moved here to St. Charles from North County (not including my neighbors).

I think St. Louis and Detroit try to compete to see who can do white flight the best.
