  • I'm sure Marky Mark will play the role of the unrecruited kid nobody wanted or gave a chance to who ends up an American legend.
  • I thought they already did this.  Wasn't it called "The Passion of the Christ".
  • I work with a Pats fan and some of the cliches he enjoys will probably be in there.  Actual quote:  "Nobody saw the potential in Tom, but Bill knew there was just something special about that kid."
  • They already made a "Tom Brady 'Movie'":
  • Here's the story of a man named Brady...
  • "The Man who Never Faced Adversity".

\Literally the worst thing that happened in his sports career was he was paid handsomely to not risk injury.
  • DiCaprio will play Tom. Gisele will play herself.

  • The plot twist at the end where you find out that all this time that Brady was really just a regular a kid from Southie and an undercover Statie trying to infiltrate the NFL and take down the commissioner that was leading a secret life as a mafia crime boss will amaze you. And DeNiro is going to win an Oscar for his heartwrenching performance as Drew Bledsoe, the former golden boy caught between an international crime syndicate and one cop's unwavering desire to make things right for his pop's football team.

Oh man.....I really miss that show, and it's a damn shame HBO pulled it after a few seasons.

/The Atlantic City episode was beyond awesome.

Ask your coworker how Bill felt about Bledsoe Vs. Brady prior to the 2001 season. See if your coworker tries to feed you a line about Bellichick already leaning toward Brady instead of Bledsoe. Then remind him that as of August 2001, Brady was still 4th in the depth chart behind Huard and Bishop. Also point out in March of 2001 Bellichick and Kraft made Bledsoe the highest paid NFL player ever with a 10 year $103m contract... mere months before Brady entered the game when Bledsoe was injured. Regarding the contract extension, Bellichick said, "As a coach it's very important to know that your key players will be with you for a while. It makes it a lot easier for our planning.''  Brady ended up the best QB ever, but if Bill even had an inkling about that he wouldn't have signed Bledsoe to such a long term deal. Let's not make Bill out to be some sort of mystic that foresaw Brady's success.
  • Sweet. That sounds super interesti....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Brady is an awesome quarterback and in great shape for his age. But he's been kind of verging on scientology level whackjob the last couple of years.

If he really knew, why did he wait six rounds to draft him? The most you can say is Bill saw some upside in that kid. If he knew, he would have to have assumed that at least one other team knew as well.

... I realized my response makes it look like I am attributing this cliche to you. To be clear: this is something you can say back to that Pats fan.

Ha. Here comes a bunch of guys pointing out how belichick is a mystic who foresaw Brady's success. Even the terrible record and firing in cleveland was all part of the master plan that began somewhere around kindergarten.
  • This will be the most boring movie ever.  Just go watch Rudy, except give him a scholarship to Michigan and make the choice between Bridget and Gisele involve Jello instead of birth control.
  • Why can I see Tommy Lee Jones as Belichick

I'd go with Charles Grodin. And I'd have Peter Dinklage play Edleman, Welker, Doug Flutie and Troy Brown.

In another thread a couple weeks ago I compared his TB12 nutrition / diet bullshiat to Scientology as well. He's a complete crackpot when it comes to that stuff.

Bill didn't go to kindergarten. Didn't have time. Was studying too much film.
